Pick Guy was started in 2000 by Marty Camire. The early years (under the name allthingsmusic) were primarily based around selling music memorabilia and pre-printed guitar picks on eBay. Marty was intrigued by how much people would pay for a "famous" persons guitar pick, and said to himself "I want to be the one making those picks!"

Soon after that he made a connection with a guitar pick company based in Australia, named Grover Allman, and started selling their product on-line and to local retailers. Marty started offering custom printed guitar picks in 2001, while continuing to build up his connection with Grover Allman.

Over the next few years sales increased steadily, both with custom orders and pre-printed picks, and people started calling him "The Pick Guy." In 2005, Marty changed his business name to Pick Guy, Inc (now a registered trademark), and in 2006 Marty left his day job and dedicated all his time to the business.

In early 2009 Pick Guy officially merged his company with his long-time friends and business partners at Grover Allman. Today, Pick Guy / Grover Allman sell millions of picks a year, distribute their product into over 25 countries, and have a growing list of high-profile musicians/bands.
